1st New Patient Visit

The initial patient consult and treatment will take about an hour and a half. Our intake includes a comprehensive patient review to understand your unique health patterns and specific needs. The initial intake will take about 30-60min depending on the complexity of the condition or complaint. Please bring all necessary documentation (imaging, bloodwork, office notes from other providers) with you to your appointment.

After the assessment is complete, the acupuncture treatment will begin. Needle placement and retention will vary based on the patient's condition and needle response. After removing the needles, you will receive cupping therapy (optional) and a 15 min massage (hot stone or regular/ also optional) to complete the session.

If it is your first time getting acupuncture, it is recommended to wear loose-fitting clothing, avoid caffeine before the appointment, and grab at least a quick snack beforehand. Each treatment will take anywhere between 30 - 45 minutes.
